Most academic scholarships run on one of three exams.

Nearly every selective private school outsources its academic scholarship exam to one of three bodies. Knowing which one your target schools use means you can prepare once and apply to many.

AAS  Academic Assessment Services — common in NSW & WA.
ACER  ACER Co-operative Scholarship Test — common in QLD & SA.
Edutest  Edutest — the dominant exam across VIC.
Own  School-set exam — e.g. Sydney Grammar, Scotch.
